 In the old days, customers would go to an adult toy store in person and buy whatever seemed appealing in-store.  The revenue generated for the store really depended on how strong the sales associate was working that night.  As a store owner, if you employed a sleepy young man or woman who just answered questions about lube and vibrators without educating the customer on the benefits of larger ticket items such as a fucking machine, you were missing out on revenue.

 Today, it is imperative that you have an online presence in addition to your B&M store to capture the sale in multiple ways, not just in person.  When customers are in the right state of mind to buy, you can carefully and strategically convince them on the benefits of the toy in question.  Today, that toy in question is the two different fucking machines available with us.

As a manager or owner of a retail store who wants to make the sale of a high-value fucking machine toy to your customers, you have to build rapport with them if selling in person or create on one hell of a sales page if selling online.

The customer really appreciated the personality of the sales associates and felt comfortable to discuss their needs and wants with him or her.  This is key!  If you can get your customer to open up to you in-store or online by calling in and speaking to someone, you have your foot in the door and are ready to SELL.

DISPLAY, DISPLAY and DISPLAY!  If you are selling a high ticket item such as a fucking machine in-store, you NEED to have one on display.  No, not for the customer to use in front of you because that could get weird quickly when they enjoy it too much but hey if that's how you run your store, who am we to judge.  All jokes aside, having the item front and center with a list of benefits outlined in a brochure will be a great start.  This brochure should have your business card stapled to it with a phone number the customer can contact you at.  Remember, not all customers will buy the first time they walk into your store and that is okay.  Also, not all customers feel comfortable speaking about fucking machines in person so they may want to call you about it later.  If you are passionate about this business and truly like helping people achieve sexual bliss through sex toys, you will build rapport and get them to believe in your knowledge and passion.  To do this, you actually have to educate yourself on the item and understand the features so you can explain them properly.  Don't try to learn on-demand in front of a customer.  Nothing is a bigger turn off than a sales associate who is trying to sell a $1,000+ item and knows NOTHING about it.

Get a contact number or email from your customer and ask them if you could follow up with them in a couple of weeks if they don’t buy.  You know what, contact them in a couple of weeks even after they buy just to see how they like it!  This speaks worlds about you, your establishment and who you are as a person.

Online (Website)

If you strictly operate an online store for selling sex toys, your job is automatically harder on big-ticket items such as fucking machines.  This is the reality because people who buy online tend to also look on Amazon, eBay, Wal-Mart, etc.  These customers may even go into a store to view the item and then purchase for the lowest price online.  This is the ugly reality of e-commerce today.

Here is what you can do though to significantly increase the chances of capturing the sale.  Make a quality video about you, your store, your staff, and your operation.  Again, build trust & rapport with your customers by providing all the information they need to buy from you.  Explain who you are and why they should buy from you in general.  Is it because you have the best prices?  Is it because your customer service associates work till midnight answering questions?  Is it because your return policy is amazing?  Whatever your hook is, make sure your customer knows it.  If you really want to get serious about selling, you could even consider making videos on all the high-ticket items with a little tutorial.  No, you don't have to shoot an adult video to get sales.  Also, I am not referring to the manufacturer videos that come with some of these products, I’m referring to making an 8 minute or longer video explaining all the benefits of The Cowgirl Premium Sex Fucking Machine so your customer can see it in action, hear it and visualize what it would do to them.  This will set you apart from most retailers because most people are not doing this.
